As Josh's debut album, Across 110th Street ships this week, the "making of" process was an amazing and stretching experience.

Over the past 9 months Josh has been working on this record, and he has accomplished what many would consider impossible: as writer, arranger, recording engineer, producer as well as playing all the instruments on the album and mixing the entire record himself...."I decided that if I was ever going to release music, I was going to have to do it myself. Having taken an audio production program in Montreal and with a lot of dedication, hard work and the grace of God, I was able to accomplish this feat and push myself to my limits."

From the writing perspective, each song ties into the next creating a loose concept of someone living in a tough situation, and finding God in the midst of it. From straight up ballads and Hard Funk to 70's Rock and Motown Soul, Josh delivers a debut album that will make heads turn and ears listen.

"Making this record started out as something I wanted to do for me, because I love music. But as I got further and further into production it began taking on a life of its own. The songs were no longer just for me, but for everyone. My hope for this record is that people would connect with the songs, that they could be a soundtracks to people's lives and if one person connects to it and feels the music, then it's worth it!"
